Kastle had breakfast on his first puppy scent pad this morning - the precursor to starting tracking. It was small, about 2'x2' and I'm looking for a deep nose, lots of focus and drive to get the kibble and the desire to keep going. He had it all. There were distractions around but he stayed focused. He even dug a little with his feet to try and get every last piece of food. Definitely going to be easy to train for tracking!
