Reeds Lake Walk

It was unseasonably warm, sunny and absolutely GORGEOUS for October in Michigan. Lots of people were out and about enjoying the beautiful day. I met up with a friend and her pooch and nephew for a nice long walk on one of the nicest paved paths around a really lovely lake. Kastle was exposed to many other dogs, people, children, strollers, bike riders, rollerbladers, wedding parties - pretty much anything he might see later on. He was a rock. Lots of people had to pet him and meet him and he was friendly and sociable and pleasant. He was not phased by anything, super calm and steady the whole time. He did get a little lunge-y and over-excited about watching some tennis players (he REALLY wanted that tennis ball!) but on our way back, he found an abandoned tennis ball that he carried all the way to the car. A really fantastic time!
